Andy and Kate have been the landlord and landlady at the Horseshoe Hotel in Egton Bridge, Whitby. Kate’s background in the hospitality industry dates back 20 years where she managed a 200 seater Beefeater restaurant, at the Horseshoe Kate was responsible for all aspects of hotel management including accounts, staffing and salaries. Andy’s comes from a background in IT and has spent over 15 years in design, developing and prompting websites for businesses especially in the hospitality industry, Andy’s primary role at the Horseshoe was sales and successfully increase bookings year on year through channel management, website promotions and social media. He was also responsible for bar management, breakfast chef and maintenance. Andy is a personal licence holder.
During our time at the Horseshoe we achieved outstanding reviews on all major review websites including TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Google and Facebook.
Andy and Kate had an incredible reputation at the Horseshoe in terms of customer care, increasing occupancy, selling fantastic food and looking after their staff.
